p.3 Steamer Ashore - The steamer City of Toronto ran ashore at Niagara yesterday. A steamer and Messrs. Calvin & Breck's divers, apparatus, etc. have gone to her assistance.

A Lot of Charters - Late on the 21st, at Milwaukee, W.P. McLaren & Co., and Angus Smith & Co. chartered every grain vessel in the harbor, with the exception of the propeller Barnum, to take wheat to Kingston and Buffalo, the rate being 5 cents to Kingstno and 2 1/2 cents to Buffalo.
