p.2 Toronto - Capt. Taylor, of the schooner J.G. Worts, was lying in lee of Christian Island when the lost Waubuno passed by. She lurched, but recovered and proceeded up. The Captain followed her course for about fifteen miles. A furious gale was blowing at the time, and Capt. Taylor thinks the Waubuno must have been swamped almost as soon as she reached the shelter of the island.
