p.3 The Waubuno Wreck - We perceive that Mr. T.W. Hugo, formerly of Kingston, and engineer of one of the upper lake steamers, has been conducting a concert at Owen Sound, in aid of the families who suffer by the Waubuno disaster. A handsome sum was realized.

Cataraqui Bridge - less labor will be recquired to open the coming swing bridge than the present draw bridge.

Murray Canal - Government urged to start construction.
