Marine.

The City of Belleville left this morning on her 1st trip to Picton.

The prop. Persia, from Port Dalhousie, came in last night and discharged her cargo of grain.

The D.C. West will commence her trips to Westport tomorrow. The Rideau is now open.

Wind Wafts -The str. Norseman had a very rough passage across the lake on Friday. The boat had to return to Port Hope, being unable to make Charlotte. The passengers were very sick.

Labourers Union - Tomorrow a meeting of the wharf labourers, favourable to the formation of a union, will be held at the Commercial House, commencing at 7:30 o'clock. A good attendance is expected.
