p.2 "A" Battery's Departure - on str. Magnet for Montreal.

p.3 Thrown Into the Lake - This morning early the schr. Commanche dumped the 1st grain into the harbour. There was only 4 bushels damaged and as the Captain wanted to go back to Oswego, he could not return to the port whence it came. The Captain positively refused to pay the duty and the waiter would not sign his clearance and he destroyed the grain.
