Marine News.

The Bangalore is loading 5000 sacks of salt for Chicago at 80 cents per ton. The rate has dropped considerably.

Called At Swifts - Passport, Hamilton; Corinthian, Montreal; Prussia, Montreal; steambarge R. Anglin and Caesar arrived from Ottawa with 221 tons iron ore for Fairport.

Passed Through the Welland Canal for Kingston: schrs. Falmouth, Milwaukee, wheat; M.C. Upper, Toledo, lumber; Norway, Muskegon, timber; Lewis Ross, Toledo, corn; Josephine, Chatham, wheat; Senator Blood, Toledo, wheat.

The arrivals of today are: schrs. Nellie Hunter, Toledo, 12,079 bush wheat; Jessie Macdonald, Oswego, 143 tons coal; Eureka, Charlotte, 317 tons coal; Laura, Milwaukee, 23,000 bush wheat; Ida Walker, Toledo, 12,877 bush corn; Van Straubenzie, Toledo, 22,450 bush. corn; Jane McLeod, Toledo, 14,250 bush corn.
