Marine News.

R. Crawford & Co. - sch. Wanderer, Fairhaven, 183 tons coal.

K. & M. Co. - schrs. T.C. Street, Toronto, 20,420 bush corn; Twilight, Toronto, 13,600 bush corn; Marysburg, Toronto, 11,400 bush corn; Nellie Hunter, Toronto, 11,545 bush corn.

St. Lawrence & Chicago Co. - schrs Sterling, 12,286 bush wheat; Florida, Toledo, 21,500 bush corn; A.M. Foster, Oswego 156 tons coal; Eureka, Charlotte, 150 tons coal; Pandora, Toledo, 17,600 bush wheat.

Passed Through the Welland Canal for Kingston: Marie A. MIte, Toledo, corn; Persia, Toledo, corn; Ida Walker, Detroit, wheat; Jennie Mathews, Toledo, corn; Charger, Toledo, corn; Denmark, Toledo, timber; Wawanash, Toledo, timber; Guelph, Toledo, wheat.

The str. Marine City, running between Mackinac and Toronto and Cleveland, took fire Saturday afternoon 2 miles off Arkona, 30 miles below Alpena, and burned to the waters edge. She had a large load of passengers, 130 of whom are reported saved. Some are known to be lost.

M.T. Co. - The arrivals for the M.T. Co. are: sch. Ella Murton, Port Dalhousie, 15,161 bush corn; North Star, Port Dalhousie, 3,443 bush corn; Craftsman, Chicago, 19,000 bush corn; A.D. Bullock, Toronto, 13,500 bush corn; Dundee, Toronto, 16,072 bush corn; A.G. Ryan, Toronto, 7,426 bush corn; Richardson, Port Dalhousie 8000 bush corn; Julia, Toronto, 8000 bush corn; Fabiola, Toronto, 9300 bush corn. The prop Ontario lightened 4000 bushels grain. The tug Glide reached here from Montreal with 7 barges, 4 light, and 3 laden with pig iron. The departures were: barges Chicago, 21,000 bush corn; Duluth, 18,000 bush corn and 40 tons phosphate; Dauntless, 13,116 bush corn; Wheat Bin, 14,000 bush corn; Liberator, 10,700 bush corn; Campaign 8000 bush wheat and 40 tons of phosphate.
