p.3 Ice Cutting - (part) "Preparations are being made to cut a supply of congealed fluid for the Royal Mail Line.

Assessment of Vessels - At the Court of Revision, Toronto, the assessment of vessel property was reduced by 50 %. For the past three or four years the reduction has been two-thirds of their value, but as they were valued at a low figure this season, the reduction was placed at one-half. Such is the treatment Kingston vessel men have to receive from the Kingston City Council.

First Launch Of The Season - str. Gipsy launched at shipyard of Wm. Power & Co. - had to cut ice for 150 feet.
