p.3 Steamer Released - Shortly before the close of navigation the steamer Armenia was seized at Gananoque for neglecting to report at Prescott. On Wednesday last the bond, and the $100 deposited, were returned to the Captain. It was shown that the neglect was on the part of the Customs authorities in Prescott.

Loading Again - The schooner Nellie Sherwood cleared last night for the foot of Howe Island where she loads 70 tons of hay for Cape Vincent at $2 per ton. The rate is high, but reasonable enough at this season of the year.
