p.3 Judge Armour's Decision - The late case of Murton vs. Kingston & Montreal Forwarding Company has attracted much attention, and in consequence of the decision any number of suits are talked of being entered. Many vessel captains that have been compelled to pay for shortages, will now sue for the same. If it is improper for vessel men to receive pay for overpluses it is certainly wrong to make them pay for shortages.
