Marine News.

The steamer Spartan passed east this morning.

The Norseman broke her walking beam on Wednesday. It was repaired at Charlotte and she is now on her route as usual.

The str. Corsican yesterday ran into a barge at Brockville, doing considerable damage to it. The str. had the paint rubbed off her bow. The barge belonged to the K. & M. Forwarding Company.
