p.3 A Prosperous Company - The Richelieu and Ontario Navigation Company are preparing their annual statement. The statement will show a balance of $40,000, carried forward, and a larger number of passengers carried than for a great number of years. By the opening of navigation all the steamers will have been thoroughly repaired and overhauled, and the staterooms refurnished and placed on the same style as on the Hudson River steamers. The boats will be furnished with electric lights and will be turned out in first class order. The stock is rising gradually and is going into investments in large blocks.
