p.2 She Made Good Time - The steam barge D.D. Calvin is credited with having last fall towed her consorts, four barges loaded with timber from Detour to Sault Ste. Marie, 60 miles, in 10 1/2 hours. The Calvin towed against a strong current and her barges drew 12 feet of water.
