p.3 Incidents of the Day - Capt. Murray, of Oswego, has brought action against J. Cummings to recover $1,300 damages received by the schr. John R. Noyes, which went on the beach near Charlotte last fall. At the time of the accident the schooner was in tow of the str. Monteagle.

Meeting Of Portsmouth Council - The lease between the corporation and the K. & M.F. Co. was read for the benefit of the new members.
