MARINE NOTES.

The schrs. Jamieson and Vienna have cleared from Whitby with barley for Oswego.

The schr. Geo. M. Case, dismasted last summer, has been entirely refitted at an expense of nearly $3,000 ($5,000 ?).

The prop. Celtic is at St. Catharines. She is being strengthened by new iron arches, and is having her boiler repaired. When the repairs are finished she will rank first-class.

The schr. Gulnair is undergoing extensive repairs at Hamilton. The schr. Undine is receiving a new deck and is being well overhauled. The schr. Manzanilla is also receiving extensive repairs.
