Sailors are shipping at wages equal to $25 per month.

Departures - sloop Lorraine, Stone Mills, light; schr. White Oak, Toronto, 10,000 bush. rye.

The prop. Lake Michigan loads wheat at Toledo, and the schr. Manzanilla, lumber at Bay City, for Kingston.

Three men on the prop. Glengarry, getting 90 cents per day, asked for $1 per day this morning. Their request was refused and they left the craft.

Arrivals - schr. Gipsy, Clayton, light; prop. Niagara, Toledo, 2,500 bush. corn; sloop Laura, Cape Vincent, light; schr. Annie Falconer, Oswego, light; schr. C.B. Wood, Alexandria Bay, light; sloop Two Brothers, Wolfe Island, light.
