p.8 Reported Lease of Property - It is reported that the wood yard of Isaac Noble, at the foot of Ontario street, has been leased to the M.T. Co. by the K. & P.R.R. Company, at an annual rental of $625. The lesees are also required to do a certain amount of earth filling-in.


The schr. Clara Youell is en route to the city from Kingsville with grain.

The schr. B.W. Folger is loading 8,000 bushels of barley at Eilbeck's elevator for Oswego.

The schr. Elgin is loading 10,000 bushels of rye at Richardson & Son's elevator for Toronto. The str. Khartoum and sloop Minnie arrived with 800 bushels of barley from the islands.

The schr. Mary Lyon reached here yesterday with a cargo of grain from Chicago. About two weeks ago she encountered a severe wind storm and was forced to seek shelter at Milwaukee.

The steam barge Tecumseh and consort have arrived at Collinsby from Toledo with oak timber and staves. The boats will return to Byng Inlet, Georgian Bay, and load timber for Tonawanda.

The steam barge Water Lily and barge Bann, 170,000 feet of lumber, and the steam barge Nile and consort with 350,000 feet of lumber from Ottawa, arrived here. The lumber will be handled by the Rathbun company.

Mary Lyon, Chicago, 23,517 bush. corn; barge Bella, Oswego, 52 tons coal; barge Maggie, Oswego, 53 tons coal; tug Active, Oswego, grapes, pears, coal oil; schr. Gleniffer, Toronto, 20,964 bush. wheat; prop. Lincoln, Chicago, 17,150 bush. corn; schr. Lisgar, Chicago, 22,656 bush. corn.

Cleared: schr. Gleniffer, Toronto, light.
