p.8 Work At Garden Island - A busy place just now is on Garden Island shipyard, where a number of men are employed in rebuilding Calvin & Son's boats. The schr. Norway will be made an almost entirely new boat.

Crossed With A Horse - str. Pierrepont came from Cape Vincent yesterday, today frozen over; tug Thompson came from Bay and broke her way to M.T. Co. wharf; ferry steamers have been laid up, and their machinery is being taken down.
