Little Marine Paragraphs - Capt. W.D. Wart, of Ogdensburg, who commanded the prop. Oneida, of the Central Vermont Line, last year, has received the appointment of captain of the str. Blanchard, now at Chicago, and which was not in the service last year. She is a 1,200 tonner.

The schr. Hartford, owned by James McCarthy and O.F. Gaylord, of Oswego, has been sold for $8,000 to W.L. Consaul, of Clayton.
