MARINE PARAGRAPHS.

The boiler was removed from the steamer City of Kingston today.

Tett's barges with 260,000 feet of lumber are en route to the city.

The schr. Grantham has been chartered to carry grain from Duluth to Kingston.

The schr. Watertown has been chartered in Chicago for Kingston to carry 22,000 bush. wheat.

The steam barge Nile and barges, with lumber and sash factory goods, cleared today for the Rideau Canal.

The schr. Grantham, with wheat, has arrived from Duluth. After being lightened her cargo was found to be 81 bushels short. It has been remarked that the grain cargoes of all vessels coming from Duluth have been found short.

Arrivals: prop. Alma Munro, Duluth, 9,168 bush. wheat; schr. J.G. Worts, Duluth, 22,700 bush. wheat; schr. Annandale, Fairhaven, 359 tons coal; prop. St. Magnus, Duluth, 34,002 bush. wheat; schr. Gold Hunter, Toronto, 13,609 bush. corn; prop. Lake Ontario, Toledo, 7,000 bush. corn; prop. Shickluna, Duluth, 16,500 bush. wheat; prop. Armenia, Chicago, 10,000 bush. wheat.

Clearances: schr. A.M. Foster, Oswego, 81,121 feet lumber; schr. Philo Bennett, Oswego, 118,248 feet lumber; schr. C. Gearing, Oswego, 95,000 feet lumber; schr. Gold Hunter, Fairhaven, light.

p.6 Kingston Mills - W. Scott has purchased the steambarge Water Lily. He carries freight between Ottawa and Kingston. Mr. Scott is one of the best pilots on the Rideau. He has been captain of a fleet of boats belonging to Tett Bros., Bedford Mills, for 9 or 10 years.

Collinsby - The "Middle Brother," in the Bay of Quinte, is to become a summer resort. It is under Messrs. Frankle & Roger's management, as lesees of the island.
