p.5 The Richelieu Navigation Company - Montreal, Jan. 24th - A sensation was caused on the local Wall street today when it became known that auditors of the Richelieu & Ontario Navigation company had discovered that the late Senator Senecal, president of the company at the time of his death, was indebted to it in a sum exceeding $11,000. The shareholders are indignant. The annual meeting on the 1st February will be one of the stormiest annuals of the company. The floating debt exceeds $350,000. There is no chance of dividends for years to come.
