p.8 Incidents Of The Day - Messrs. Geddes and Trowell, who are interested in the investigation into the California disaster under the consideration of the minister of marine and fisheries, interviewed with the Hon. Mr. Foster. No decision has as yet been arrived at.

Personal Mention - Capt. S. Polley will sail the schooner Neilson, of East Saginaw, next season. Capt. Hugh Harrison will again command the May Richards of Detroit.
