p.8 Incidents Of The Day - Thomas Ryan has hauled the schooner Pride of America from the beach at Charlotte onto the ice over deep water. He expectes her to float when the ice breaks up.

Capt. Cuthbert has built four yachts at Trenton this winter. He has also raised the topsides of the Iolanthe to increase her speed in heavy weather. John Bell, Q.C., is fitting up the Norah for a long cruise next summer.
