The str. John A. Macdonald is on the stocks at Garden Island receiving extensive repairs.

The str. Pierrepont with great difficulty reached the Wolfe Island dock this morning.

The steamer D.D. Calvin is discharging timber at Garden Island. The timber remained in the steamer all winter.

The schr. B.W. Folger has been loaded with barley for Oswego and will start for that port as soon as the route is clear of ice.

The sailing yacht Daisy, owned by D. Jones, sprang a leak yesterday. Her condition was discovered in time to prevent her from sinking.

The str. Hiram A. Calvin will go up the lake today for the purpose of ascertaining if there is much ice above Nine Mile light house.

Cost Of A Deputation - bills for deputations to Ottawa, Hamilton and Toronto respecting canal tolls and proposed dry dock.
