MARINE PARAGRAPHS.

Coal freights from Oswego to Chicago, $1.30.

The schr. O. Mowat is being generally overhauled and repainted.

Mr. Swift will engage more extensively in the lumber business this season.

The prop. Armenia left Port Dalhousie for Charlotte to load coal for Kingston.

The schr. Jessie Breck was the first to be moved in the harbour. She was towed down town on Tuesday.

The schr. Mary Foster was destroyed by fire at Belleville yesterday. The vessel was worth $300 and insured.

The sloop Laura D. (Capt. C. Dervan - sic - Daryaw ?), arrived from Simcoe Island this morning. She will load coal for Gananoque.
