C.F. Gildersleeve, H. Calvin and E.W. Rathbun are on the committee to establish the inland marine mutual insurance association.

Arrivals: schr. Albacore, Charlotte, 300 tons coal; schr. B.W. Folger, Sodus Point, 242 tons coal; schr. Ocean, Oswego, 148 tons coal; prop. Canada, Duluth, 7,156 bush. wheat; prop. Tilley, Duluth, 40,000 bushels wheat, with schr. F. Merritt, 24,000 bush. wheat, and schr. Neelon, 23,000 bush. wheat; schr. J.H. Mead, Chicago, 28,365 bush. corn.

The schr. Grantham floats a Harrison and Moston flag from its mast head. Captain Donnelly got it as a present at Cleveland.
