MARINE PARAGRAPHS.

The steam barge Nile and consort, with cedar posts from Ottawa, passed up the river today en route to Deseronto.

The steamer H.A. Calvin started yesterday for Quebec with a raft in tow from Garden Island. This is the fifteenth raft that has left that place this season.

The str. Islander is on the ways at Portsmouth receiving some repairs. The schr. G.C. Finney has arrived at the same place from Chicago with 30,000 bushels of corn.
