MARINE PARAGRAPHS.

The schr. C. Gearing arrived from Belleville this morning.

McEwen & Son will compound the engine in the steambarge D.K. VanAllen.

The steamer Glengarry has been hauled out at the M.T. company's ship yard. It will be generally repaired.

The schr. Queen of the Lakes was expected to arrive from Oswego today. She will go into winter quarters at once.

Over 12,000 bushels of grain were transferred from barges last evening into cars for Montreal. This is the last of 95,000 bushels of grain to be shipped in this way.
