p.1 Incidents Of The Day - Capt. Fraser is putting repairs to the extent of $1,500 on the barge Southampton.

Capt. Gheogham (sic - Geoghegan) states that his engagement with the M.T. company begins yearly in the spring and ends with the close of navigation. He was not dismissed for negligence of his duty.

p.4 The ferry steamers now run to Garden Island. If the mild weather continues an attempt will be made to reach Cape Vincent.

p.8 Incidents Of The Day - The diving apparatus necessary for the raising of the Ella Ross, at Deseronto, arrived on Saturday. It is expected that she will be raised in about a week.
