p.1 Incidents Of The Day - The schr. Isaac May cleared this morning for Windsor with railroad iron.

The Rideau Canal will not close until the end of the month. The traffic this year has been greater than heretofore.

The schr. Annie Falconer is loading coal at Oswego for Swift's. After unloading she will go into winter quarters here.

The steam yacht Sirius, of Alexandria Bay, coaled at Swift's this morning. She left this afternoon on a hunting expedition down the Rideau.

The locomotive works company have foreclosed a mortgage on the str. Kathleen for $12,000. Proceedings are now going on in the court to have her sold at auction. The crew have all been paid their wages by the locomotive works company.
