p.1 Incidents Of The Day - Mr. Madden is building a large elevator for the M.T. Co.

The schr. Jessie Breck has been chartered to carry grain to Oswego. Freight 3 1/2 cents per bushel.

The steambarge Isaac May and consort have gone into winter quarters at Sarnia. Capt. Mulligan, of the steambarge, arrived in the city today.

The Montreal Transportation Company will ask for exemption again when its present "permit" lapses, unless the government interferes and wipes out the law. If new terms are not made maybe the firm will leave us.
