p.1 The Wreck Of The Armstrong - The Ogdensburg Journal says that Mr. Leslie's contract was to raise the Armstrong in time for the winter's work, and he was to receive $10,000. The present abandonment releases the owners, and it is at their option whether a further contract be made. We are informed that Mr. Leslie has sunk at least $15,000 in the undertaking.

Incidents Of The Day - The schr. Jessie Breck was to have cleared today for Brockville. She will be engaged in connection with the raising of the steamer Armstrong.

The schr. Jessie Breck, in tow of the str. Chieftain, cleared for Oswego with 16,000 bushels of grain. The round trip was made and the schooner unloaded in twenty-four hours.
