p.1 Incidents Of The Day - While a steam pump was being transported from a wharf to the schooner Jessie Breck the pump slipped and fell on the deck and broke away four planks. The frame of the engine was broken.

The raising of the water in the lake yesterday caused some damage at Davis' dry dock. The waves washed over the dock until there was two feet of water in it. Men were engaged yesterday in hauling earth to repair the damaged parts.

Deseronto Doings - The tug Rescue left here yesterday morning with the barge Puritan with lumber for Belleville.
