MARINE INTELLIGENCE.

The little schr. Restless, of Belleville, was seized in Oswego on a chattel mortgage of $650.

Capt. Henning, of the schr. Marie Annette, will give up sailing, get married and settle in Port Hope.

It is reported in American papers that W. Leslie, on putting the str. Armstrong on the ways at Ogdensburg received a cheque for $10,000, the contract price for raising her.

Incidents Of The Day - Work at the long pier, Portsmouth, was resumed Monday. J. Nicholson is the contractor.
