Capt. Samuel Fraser, with the prop. Scotia and barges Blake and Southampton, has reached Garden Island with timber from Algoma.

Arrivals: tug Thompson and barges, Charlotte, coal; schr. Garibaldi, Charlotte, 299 tons coal; prop. Algonquin Chicago, 66,993 bush wheat.

Clearances: Wawanosh, Astabula, 540 tons iron ore; Julia, Oswego, light; tug Active and tow, Oswego; schr. Eliza White, Oswego, light.

Capt. David Vance is down from Milwaukee. He stopped at Cleveland and looked at the schr. Varuna, lately sunk at Astabula with ore. The owners hope to make a constructive total loss out of the disaster.
