p.1 General Paragraphs - W.B. Thompson, purser of the str. Hero, is visiting Bay ports adjusting accounts.

The schr. Grantham arrived on Saturday from Oswego with 712 tons of coal for Breck & Booth.

The prop. Glengarry was hauled up on the ways in the Montreal Transportation Company's shipyard on Saturday.

Some of the canvas of the schr. Polly Rodgers is flying today from the Murton. It is now in the possession of the customs authorities awaiting the payment of duty.

Capt. Thomas Donnelly went to Napanee this morning to attend the police court, where Capt. Collier, of the str. Reindeer, is charged with carrying more passengers than the law allowed.
