p.2 Loss of Steamer Wave - On Friday morning last, the steamer Wave was lost off the mouth of Grande River, she was heavily freighted and was towing a schooner, when she broke her shaft and became unmanageable and ran on Gull Island, breaking her back and becoming in a short time a complete wreck. The loss will be immense, as she was freighted with valuable goods.
