p.2 A New Iron Steamer - The Niagara Chronicle says:- Captain Thomas Dick, of the City of Toronto, arrived by the last Mail Steamer from Great Britain. He has brought with him the model of a new iron vessel, for the construction of which, in conjunction with Mr. Heron of this Town, he has entered into contract with one of the most eminent firms in Scotland. The new vessel will come out in parts by some of the early Spring ships to Montreal, and will be put together at the Dock here. Her power is to give her a speed of at least 18 knots the hour.
