p.2 Lake Navigation - No good chart exists of the navigation of the upper lakes that is procurable by the masters of schooners and steamers trading on the upper waters of this province. We understand that a petition will be presented in the next Session of Parliament, praying for an efficient survey, and the preparation of charts. The survey will not cost much, and we hope the prayer of the petition may be granted. [Montreal Courier]
