p.2 Police Court - Thomas Woodford, a cook on one of the lake schooners, summoned Capt. Abbott for assault. Woodford had allowed a quantity of fish to get spoiled, for which Capt. Abbott had charged him 5s., and upon Woodford's giving some impertinent language, he was struck by the Captain, upon which he returned the blow, and a fight took place. Judgement deferred till Friday.
