p.2 Sault Ste. Marie Canal - discussed in American senate - not much progress.

Port Stanley - A new fore and aft schooner, named the Isaac Buchanan, was launched at Port Stanley on the 7th inst. The Isaac Buchanan will register between 250 and 300 tons. There were about 2000 persons present at the launch, as few vessels have been built in that quarter of the Province.
