p.2 Accident - An accident, which might have terminated very seriously, occurred on Saturday morning last to the house of Mr. Montgomery, on the Cataraqui Bridge. A schooner under press of canvass was passing through the Bridge, when by some means or other, the man who had charge of the wheel, when desired to port his helm put it a starboard, by which means the bowsprit went completely through the house coming out of the roof. The house was very much shaken and displaced from its position. All the crockery, glasses, etc., were broken and destroyed.
