p.2 Great Fire at Oswego - all mills and elevators on east side of river burned, several vessels damaged, new schooner Arabia caught on fire at Fitzhugh's mill; Fitzhugh's mill and 15,000 to 20,000 bushels grain; S. Doolittle, mill and stock; Ames and Brother, elevator and grain; H.M. Ames, plaster mill and stores; Penfield & Co., mill, grain and flour; P. Wyman, flour mill, Hall & Co., elevator and grain.
