p.2 Fall Assizes - The Court occupied all the day with the case of Bonter vs Bruce, which is likely to continue the whole of the present day. The plaintiff's case was concluded at 7 o'clock, when the Court adjourned. The cause of action was the alleged insufficiency of a boiler furnished by the defendant to the steamer Novelty in 1851. At the last Assizes the plaintiff obtained a verdict which was afterwards set aside by granting a new trail.

The Buffalo Commercial of Monday says that the steamer Queen City is sunk alongside the wharf at Erie.
