p.2 The weather continues fine though a little frosty, mild for the season. Several sail vessels have yet to leave this port for the head of the lake. The steamer Highlander goes up this afternoon. The Bay steamers are yet running.

The Buffalo Courier states that the steamers of the Michigan Central Railroad line have been laid up for the winter. It mentions a fact worthy of notice - that this line has not lost a single trip this season.
