p.2 Port Hope Harbor - At a meeting of the Commissioners of Port Hope Harbor, held on the 18th inst., the resignations of Messrs. John Ross, Robert Armstrong, and Wm. H. Smith were announced, and Messrs. R.N. Waddell, N. Kirckhoffer, and Jas. Smith elected in their stead. Charles Hughes was appointed secretary. The Chairman was authorized to enter into a contract with Mr. John Helm, Jun'r, for the building and furnishing of a dredge and scow. Frederick Cumberland, Esq., was ordered to furnish a plan and specifications for a new harbor. The accounts of the harbor Commissioners were ordered to be submitted to the Town Auditors, and published with the Town accounts according to law.
