p.2 The schooner Josephine left Oswego, on the 15th inst., bound for Port Hope, and has not since been heard of. It is thought she was caught in the recent gale, and all on board have perished.

Bravery Rewarded - Edward Attrill, stationed at Kingston Naval Yard, rescued four people from an overturned boat in Sept. 1851, received reward from Royal Humane Society.
