p.2 Assizes - Gildersleeve vs Capt. Bonter - Cross-actions between Mr. Gildersleeve and Capt. Bonter, growing out of the collision between the Novelty and the Canadian were disposed of: Mr. Gildersleeve got a verdict of between 400 and 500 pounds, and Capt. Bonter got 15 pounds.

The corporation of Toronto have presented the new ship City of Toronto with a set of colors, "as some acknowledgement on their part of the importance of the undertaking, and of the enterprising spirit which suggested it, and which has so far carried it to a successful issue."

The Oswego Times likes free admission of Canadian products.

We are pleased to learn that the ship Eliza Mary reached Montreal in safety yesterday morning.
