p.2 Freight - The Toronto Globe says:- The following are the present rates of freight to the ports mentioned. If the business of the past three weeks be an indication of the future, a heavy fall business in the shipping business may be expected:

To Oswego, per bbl 10 cents.

To do., per bus 2 3/4 cents.

To Cape Vincent, per bbl 10 cents.

To do., per bus 3 cents.

To Ogdensburgh, per bbl 15 cents.

To do., per bus 3 cents.

To Kingston, per bbl 10 cents.

To do., per bus 3 cents.

To Montreal, per bbl 25 cents.

To do., per bus 8 cents.

Freight by passage steamers will probably rule higher than the above.
