p.2 Oswego, Sept. 26th - The propeller St. Nicholas, on the 17th, carried away her stern post, shoe and wheel, in lock No. 2 on the Welland Canal, springing a leak, and went into dock at St. Catherines, with all her cargo on board, to repair damages.

We learn that the brig Baltic, of Port Dover, C.W., belonging to Thomas Waters, with a cargo of staves for Kingston, went ashore last week between Port Stanley and the Rondeau. Assistance has been rendered her.
